Great Idea for an Outdoor Screen

Looking for a unique outdoor screen?

Here the idea is to encourage vines to grow up these various hanging elements... a fascinating idea - I wonder what the finished 'green' product will look like.

    1. Hi Of Gardens!
You may be right but perhaps we Northerners can do something similar...why not grow Dutchman's Pipe vine up the strings?

  3. This is a fun post. I recently purchased a home and have a very small back yard. We have two dogs, so it was necessary to create a space for them to do their business. I wanted to make sure that it was separated from the rest of the yard and used a few pipes with some strings between them and planted vines in order to create a natural fence.

    1. I hope this helps you, Jonathan...of course you can always place PVC pipes in the ground, vertically and set them about 6 inches apart...set them in a curving pattern for a fun line.

  4. Pretty creative idea! I'd imagine that fully grown vines would give enough cover to create a private corner. Some carefully placed garden furniture and it'll be like having a gazebo. Maybe have lanterns hung up too for some lighting.
